What if I told you that you have more control over your experience than you realize and that it’s all a simple math equation that you already have the answer to? Would you solve it? Let’s talk spiritual math.

I will attempt to keep this article as simple as possible so that a non-Math person can understand and apply these spiritual math concepts.

I will also cite sources where you can go deeper into math principles if you so choose.

What is Spiritual Math as opposed to regular Math?

Short for Mathematics, Math is a universal language and a fundamental tool for understanding the physical world around us. It is the study of numbers, quantities, and shapes, and their relationships to one another.

Math is used to describe and model the behavior of natural phenomena, from the smallest particles in the universe to the largest structures in the cosmos. It is the foundation of science, technology, engineering, and finance, and plays a crucial role in almost every aspect of our daily lives.

Similarly, Spiritual Math is a term that refers to the use of mathematical concepts and principles in exploring spiritual or metaphysical ideas. It recognizes that math is not just a tool for understanding the physical world, but also has the potential to illuminate deeper truths about the nature of reality and our place in it.

Spiritual Math can involve the use of geometry, numerology, and other mathematical techniques to explore concepts such as the interconnectedness of all things, the nature of consciousness, and the relationship between the material and spiritual realms.

It can be seen as a way to bridge the gap between science and spirituality and to provide a language for exploring the mysteries of the universe beyond what can be perceived through our physical senses.

Are you ready to add more to your life or would you simply like to remain equal to the negativity that seems to exist?

0 and 1

0 and 1 are the basis of all computing systems and operations, including circuitry. Often referred to as the binary number system, 1 and 0 represent two choices, which can be displayed in a myriad of ways…yes & no, true & false, on & off, ok & cancel. You get the idea.

I won’t get into the details of binary, but if you want to learn more, check this article on How To Read Binary.

As I said earlier, 1 and 0 can be used to represent true and false, which means only one of these numbers is true, 1.

0 does not exist. It’s imaginary.

Mathematically speaking, since zero is both nonpositive and its own square root, then zero can be considered imaginary.

But I’m speaking logically. If 1 represents true, then zero represents false.

They can never be equal. And if both existed equally, we would not.

What is true can never be false. What is false can sometimes seem true, but it can never be.

Since falseness is inconsistent with itself, it has no foundation of truth to stand on. It is imaginary.

Truth on the other hand, or 1, is always true no matter what.

This is the basis of spiritual math.

If something truly exists, it shares the same properties as 1 or as truth.

Now we can begin to understand the expressions, “All are 1” and “Everything is one.”

So what is 0 really?

0 is more like “not 1”.

For example, if 1 represents all that is right, good, true, holy, and magnificent, then what is its opposite?

It has no opposite, but more on that later.

For now, we’ll accept the usual representation of the opposition, which would be considered wrong, sinful, false, unholy, and weak.

So for example, if something is “not good”, many would say it’s bad or sinful.

In other words, “not good” is to sinful as “not 1” is to 0.

What should begin to be clear now is that what is “not” is not. “Not” is not real and you shouldn’t let the idea of what’s not real take up real space in your mind.

The Introduction of 0

Quick history lesson.

It’s hard to say exactly when the concept of 0 was introduced into the world’s mathematics. Just know it wasn’t there from the beginning.

Some say it was first introduced in India around 500 AD. Others say zero dates back to the 7th century in a manuscript called the Bakhshali manuscript that was eventually transmitted to the Islamic world, where it was further developed and eventually introduced to Europe in the 12th century. And still, others say zero was first recorded in Mesopotamia around the year 3 B.C.

Regardless of when it was first brought into awareness, zero has had a profound impact on the development of mathematics, as it enabled the creation of the decimal system, which is still used today.

The introduction of zero also paved the way for the development of algebra and calculus, which would later revolutionize the fields of science and engineering.

And as such, the concept of zero is now considered to be one of the most important contributions to human civilization, as it has had a profound impact on the way we understand and interact with the world around us.

All of this from a false/imaginary number.

Is this to say that algebra and calculus are also false? That’s not for me to say.
I will say, however, applying this technique to the words above, we get some interesting combinations.

Understanding “Not 1”

To put this in full perspective, not 1 can be represented as:

Not complete

Not good

Not truth

Not real

Not rich

Not life

Or:

Incomplete

Sinful

False

Imaginary

Poor

Death

By making “not 1” a thing, many are able to react to it as if it is real and engage with this non-realness on a regular basis.

By this same logic, people are able to react to “not good” as if it were a real thing claiming that “sin is real”.

In the same way that the concept of zero has spawned algebra, calculus, engineering, science, and more….the concept of sin or evil deeds has spawned sickness, death, judgment, mental illness, etc.

This may be a stretch, but then again, it may “not”.

That is the power of “not 1”. It forces you to look at what is not there and experience it as if it was.

Understanding 1

We see what “not 1” is, but what exactly is 1?

Here’s the irony. 1 cannot be fully understood alone, which is also why it’s not good for man to be alone.

To really understand and know anything, you have to live it. And what better way than to live in oneness?

It’s not possible to live in none-ness or zero-ness because then nothing would exist. But with oneness, all things are the same. I’ll explain.

Anything that means anything to you, you have given meaning to it.

I’ll repeat. Anything that means anything to you, YOU have given meaning to it.

Now, look around you. From your body to the room that you’re in, you’ve given some sort of meaning and even value to it.

Without you giving the world meaning, it would in a sense to you be formless and void. A human body would just be clay and a building would just be sticks and stones.

Yet even those comparisons have meaning that you have also given.

Because of your core rootedness in truth, you have the ability to imagine and even use this imagination to project meaning onto that which has none.

Living In Oneness

When oneness is truly lived, you recognize that what is on the inside is also reflected/seen on the outside.

However, when oneness is falsely lived, what you see seems imbalanced or unequal.

The reason is that the oneness law is inescapable. It is what you are.

Even in an imagined conflicting world of 1s and 0s, you still live in oneness because the laws & rules you apply to others, you are also subjected to.

1 = 1. Always.

1 represents All. And within All lies even the possibility/illusion of not, or 0.

This is why you could judge someone as naive or ignorant when they don’t believe what you believe, and yet in this misbelief, they don’t share the consequence that would befall you, had you lived their beliefs.

This is also why you may perceive certain friends as lucky or able to get away with what you could never. Your perceived oneness within does equal another’s perceived oneness within. Each are mixed with a combination of 1s and 0s.

Even though neither of you may be living 100% aligned with truth, both of you are still experiencing aspects of the law of oneness in your own way.

So what is within always appears without.

Opposite vs Equal

You may have heard that you live in a world of duality. Binary language is a representation of duality meaning there are two sides to all. But as I said earlier, 1 has no opposite. This is because it has no other sides. It’s all-encompassing. 1 = 1 = 1 = 1 = 1, forever and ever.

Modern math represents opposite numbers as their negative counterpart. So it would claim that the opposite of 1 is -1.

However, -1 is also an imaginary number. It can’t be represented physically.

If an imaginary number is not real then it is equal to every other imaginary number in its not-realness.

What’s imaginary is equal to what’s imaginary.

To claim that something is opposite another is another matter indeed.

An opposite must be as powerful as the other to be considered a true opposite.

One wouldn’t judge another as their enemy unless they believe this person is as capable or even more capable than them.

Mathematically speaking, stating that 1 = 1 or 0 = 0 is a true representation of equal and opposite.

Saying that 1 ≠ 0 is not representing opposition or equality, but just stating the obvious.

So while you’re continuing to give parts of your world a negative meaning, recognize that these parts or circumstances should have no power over you because firstly, you’ve given meaning to it thus making you its maker. And secondly, what has no power or what has imaginary power shies away when in the presence of true power, you.

1 Division

Sounds like a singing group, huh?

Now that we understand the all-encompassing nature of 1, what would happen if 1 could be split?

Let’s divide.

Why divide? Because again, to truly understand something, you have to live it, being within it and it within you.

To keep it simple, we’ll divide 1 evenly.

We’ll say 1 divided by 2.

Commonly in math, 1 divided by 2 is considered one half, but let’s use the symbol … ½.

But actually, it’s ½ + ½. The other half didn’t magically disappear. It’s just that for some reason, mathematicians were focused on the subset.

So now we have 2 equal parts of ½.

Since we know that 1 is considered good, let’s restate that. 1 is good.

Now we split 1 (or good) into 2.

You now have 2 parts good. Yet each one represents half of good.

If we took one of the halves and regarded it as whole, what is it made up as?

It’s still good because, from the perspective of all of good, it’s half of itself.

Some would even say it’s just half good. To which I would ask, then what’s the other half made up as?

This is where things get confusing to individual minds, similar to halved minds.

It believes that part of itself is missing or cut off simply because it chooses to be halved or not connected.

So instead of regarding itself as whole, it seeks another half.

Now it’s getting interesting.

But let’s say this ½ judges its other ½ as being bad.

From the judgment of the first ½, this half now unknowingly sees itself as bad simply because, ½ = ½.

And since what’s bad could never equal what’s good, the self-judged divides again to search for ½ good, but each half is halved making it a fourth, an eighth, a sixteenth, and so on.

Are you with me?

Plugging In Real Values

Let’s look at this another way.

Good = ½Good + ½Good

If we subtract ½Good from both sides, we get…

Good – ½Good = ½Good

So:

½Good = Good – ½Good

Since it’s getting confusing, let’s give these all names to simplify.

We’ll name Good as Christ. The first ½Good would be Adam and the other ½Good would be Eve.

Let’s list all the equations we can to represent this using basic math.

Christ = Adam + Eve
Adam = Christ – Eve
Eve = Christ – Adam
Adam = Eve

Now Adam and Eve both feel incomplete. They’ve been cut off in a sense from each other. Yet from the perspective of Christ, nothing has been lost. Christ still has all parts of himself.

From the perspectives of Adam and Eve, something is not right.

So Adam attempts to join with Eve and the two feel good together.

Then Eve does something Adam does not agree with and he judges her as bad. But Adam equals Eve? So Adam has unknowingly or unconsciously judged himself as bad.

Since they are all that is, they still mix and mingle. They have two kids together.

From the perspective of Christ, nothing has been lost.

Christ = Adam + Eve + Child 1 + Child 2

It may seem like Christ has gained. This is true, but not in the way you think. The energy or value of Christ is still the same, however, the energy that makes up Christ has shifted and new possibilities are formed, but still all within the 1.

Now from the perspective of Adam, he may believe he’s greater than the others.

Adam < Christ

Yet, Adam believes:

Adam > Eve
Adam > Child 1
Adam > Child 2

But truly:

Adam = Eve

And now also:

Adam = Child 1
Adam = Child 2

But because Adam believes he is greater, then he unknowingly or unconsciously made others greater than he in his mind. So to even the playing field or to even out the equation, he has thoughts of attempting to belittle the “others”, not realizing that they are also himself.

This cycle repeats and repeats for each.

Yet Christ is still a happy 1.

And within, the perceived individuals are not ready to accept that the sum of all its parts equals the whole.

In other words, you plus me plus everyone else in existence make up this oneness.

And since all the parts are equal, having a good life is as simple as recognizing the good in all. Because to judge one is to judge yourself.

To state that another way, since you’ve given meaning to all you see, you’re really only seeing yourself. And to then judge against what you see, would directly be judging against yourself.

Bad Math or better yet ‘Not Math’

It’s easy to believe that you’re greater than another because of a misinterpretation of the following equation.

Remember how:

Christ = Adam + Eve

Then to solve for Adam would be:

Adam = Christ – Eve

The misinterpretation comes from the above. Adam may feel that if he gets rid of Eve, then he will be equal to Christ.

But again remember that since Adam is equal to Eve, we can substitute Adam for Eve. So to represent this perceived equation accurately would be:

Adam = Christ – Adam

From Adam’s perspective, he would lose himself in the process.

But since 1 is always 1, Adam would only imagine that he’s lost himself.

Again, from the viewpoint of Christ, the equation is still balanced, we see that:

Christ = Adam + Adam

Going back to this equation and looking at it differently, we have:

Adam = Christ – Eve

Now Adam attempts to remove Eve and…

Adam – Eve = Christ – Eve – Eve

Since Adam equals Eve, we have:

0 = Christ

Since Christ represents 1, we see how untrue this statement is:

0 = 1

It doesn’t and it won’t. Yet that is what happens when you attempt to go against a fellow self.

<s>Takeaways</s> One

What can be concluded from this?

We truly are all connected.

If you judge me, you judge yourself.

If you praise me, you praise yourself.

Negativity has no power because it’s imaginary.

Division is impossible because all parts of the 1 still remain.

What I see has always just been me, so why don’t I start seeing through the eyes of the 1.

If you’ve enjoyed this, here’s another fun thing with numbers tailored to exactly who you are.

Last, check out this rap song 123 which represents both the halved side and then the whole side as outlined in this article.

We all have conflicting thoughts. Well, I should say we all keep conflicting thoughts for the time being.

Conflicting thoughts are thoughts that are opposite in meaning, yet we believe them both.

Even defining it so plainly reveals how crazy it is to have these conflicting thoughts.

Yet every day we entertain one or more.

Some common conflicting thoughts include:

“I don’t know why bad things happen to me” vs “I love drama”

“The mind controls the body” vs “my body is sick”

“People really are nice at heart” vs “people suck”

The purpose of this article is not to list out all of your conflicting thoughts, but to help you live more in harmony with yourself.

This can be accomplished by first recognizing what your conflicting thoughts are. And secondly, by choosing just one (hopefully the thought aligned with truth).

Let’s jump in!

Others will tell you

We can sometimes become so wrapped up in our own ego that we become unconscious of what we actually believe, think, and say.

Luckily, we have mirrors (those around us) to remind us.

For whatever reason, people love proving others wrong and calling out their faults, especially kids.

So you’re surrounded by amazingly eager participants willing to show you your conflicting thoughts.

When confronted openly about these conflicting thoughts, there’s a tendency to react by directing anger toward the messenger.

But when you see the reality of this situation, you can understand that the messenger just did you a HUGE favor.

They have just brought to light some conflicting thoughts that you were unaware of.

At this moment you have a choice. You can defend your beliefs as if truth itself needs someone to fight for it. Or you can take a moment to reflect and see if there is some truth to what the person is revealing to you.

It takes practice, but you’ll get it.

You find yourself feeling uneasy, angry, or sick

Despite the common belief, sickness is not normal.

Seeing the above statement now is so blatantly obvious to me, but there was a time when it wasn’t. I believed that it was natural to get sick and that there was nothing I could do about it.

I believed that something was natural that could never be natural. It’s like living death, fighting peace, or lying for the truth…obvious conflicts that we’ve merged into one.

Since as so above, so below…what you believe inside is reflected outside.

In this case, this inner mental conflict reveals itself as bodily conflict reinforcing that the mind controls the body. Yet we sometimes believe that the body has a mind of its own. And it does. It’s yours.

Photo by Josue & Kerry of Friday Feels Production

This conflict also reveals itself in anger and uneasiness.

You would only be angry if someone reveals something that goes both against your belief and for your belief.

For example, let’s say someone calls you stupid.

If you’re content in your genius-ness, then you would brush off this attempt at an insult because it’s obviously absurd.

Yet if deep down you believe that you are stupid, then conflict or anger will arise. There’s conflict because you are trying to prove to others that you are smart without having truly accepted it for yourself.

It’s time to start using these perceived anger and/or sick times as triggers to practice seeing the miracle of moving toward a united mind.

Being present with what you’re teaching/saying (the advice you give others)

You are always teaching. You are always sharing. They are one and the same.

If for example, I say, “Eating chicken is bad for you.” You may be quick to teach or share why it is or isn’t.

We unconsciously do this. And by doing this unconsciously, we are setting up our own limits.

We are making the parameters for how we are to live. And if we don’t abide by these, conflict arises.

The conflict is there because you’ve set a rule yourself to live by, but you don’t live by it.

See how sneaky conflicting thoughts can be.

It’s not just there. It’s in the debates you have.

You may be so wrapped up in being right, that you don’t realize you’re righting something that you never wanted for yourself while denying what you do.

Fortunately, the fix is the same.

Be present at this moment.

Observe your thoughts as you think them.

Observe your words as you speak them.

This also takes practice. But once it’s perfected, nothing will ever bother you again.

You will be in perfect harmony within yourself always.

In conclusion

On this harmonic journey, try not to get frustrated if you don’t always succeed at overcoming the conflict.

To get frustrated would be to make further disharmony (more conflicting thoughts).

No more!

Here’s a song of mine to help.

Reading is more than just a pastime, it’s a great activity that can change your life. An article published by Aleteia emphasized that a good book is the key to leading a joy-filled life. Moreover, it was highlighted that reading books about spirituality can build your character and enlighten your soul.

As such, books are fundamental instruments for individuals who want to deepen their spirituality. In line with that, here are five books that can strengthen your sense of spirituality:

A Course in Miracles

A Course in Miracles was written by Helen Schucman in 1976, but it has been making waves across different spiritual practices decades after its first publication. A previous post entitled The Top “A Course in Miracles (ACIM)” Inspired Rap/Hip-Hop Artists emphasizes that this book is so life-changing that it’s influenced books, films, art pieces, and even rap.

A Course in Miracles has created such an impact because it opens people up to the greatest miracle of all: love. And through reading it, you can gain awareness of love’s presence and guide yourself towards a united spiritual purpose.

The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

Spirituality teacher Eckhart Tolle is the genius behind this best-selling book that discusses the significance of the present moment. Recognizing how thinking about the past and the future can induce anxiety, Tolle wrote The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment to teach people how to embrace the present.

The book’s simple language, as well as the question and answer format, makes it easy for readers to ease themselves into a new state of mind. This makes it a very effective tool in embracing the now and getting connected to an indestructible essence of your being.

The Untethered Soul

If you’d like to know more about Buddhist principles, then The Untethered Soul is a good place to start. This book, which was written by Michael A. Singer, explores how the principle of the Middle Way can help you reach a peaceful state of mind.

Through simple and easy-to-follow language, Singer discusses how you can embrace your existence without any force. This philosophy will help you free yourself from any emotions and thoughts that may be weighing you down. By allowing things to just be, you can experience a more elevated and peaceful existence.

Learned Optimism

You can deepen your spirituality through the science-backed research studies covered in the book Learned Optimism. In this book, author Martin Seligman discusses the proven benefits of becoming an optimist, such as being more healthy, successful, and happy. Then, the renowned psychologist teaches his readers how to break bad habits and implement new strategies that can enhance their quality of life.

By embracing optimism through these strategies, you can develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of people, love, and life. This will help you serve a more enlightened purpose throughout the human experience.

Real Magic: Creating Miracles in Everyday Life

Best-selling author Dr. Wayne Dyer explores a different kind of magic in Real Magic: Creating Miracles in Everyday Life. This book discusses realistic strategies that can help you experience profound miracles.

While these miracles aren’t the ones you usually see in the movies, they are great life experiences that can help you get past perceptions that have been holding you back. This then allows you to reach a higher level of consciousness where you can experience blessings in your everyday life.

Summary

Through these five books, you can learn how to open yourself up to a deeper spiritual practice. It only goes to show that books are valuable tools of knowledge that can help you gain a deeper understanding of love, peace, optimism, miracles, and the present moment.

Have you ever wondered why you are here and what you are here to do?

The post Why Am I Here? Tough Question, Simple Answer appeared first on JClay.

This article was written by JClay, the spiritual rapper and healer. Visit JClay for more wisdom, music, and insights.

One of the most asked questions people ask themselves is, “Why am I here?”

Even asking yourself this question gives a hint toward the answer. In fact, “why am I here” answers itself.

To get to the question’s simplicity, we must pull back some layers of complexity.

I can just give you the answer now (or you can scroll down), but it won’t be accepted without first pulling back these layers.

Understanding your Why

It’s important that you understand why you’re asking this. The reason is that you may not really want the answer to this question, but to many other questions.

For now, let’s explore the two main reasons you may ask, “Why am I here?”

The first is out of pure curiosity. In this way, the answer does not really matter. It’s a question asked at the moment and then let go of in the next.

Surprisingly, when you let go of questions, answers come much faster as opposed to always asking questions.

And since you’re reading this article, chances are you still have questions.

The second main reason you may ask why you are here comes from a not-so-loving place.

Chances are you are bored with life, find it unfulfilling, and/or completely overwhelmed by it.

You want out!

This is not to be confused with wanting to die, you just want out of your current way of living.

Who would blame you? Not loving life is not living.

It’s kind of like undying…you aren’t dying, yet you won’t live.

But the fact that you’re asking this question is HUGE.

Asking, “Why am I here” shows signs of life and that you’re ready for change.

Embrace it and ask yourself again why you are here.

Then let the question go completely knowing deep down you’ll find your answer (hint: it’s below).

Where is “here”?

The “here” in the question is one of the most misunderstood parts because even you as the asker don’t really know what you’re asking.

For example, “here” could mean on earth, in this town, in this relationship, at this job, in this conversation, on this website, in this body, in this skin, at this party, in this time, etc.

You could think you’re asking for one of the above mentioned, but you’re really asking for another one of the above mentioned.

I know…it makes us humans sound confused. This is also true, which is why you understand what I’m pointing out.

But JClay, doesn’t “confused” mean that you don’t understand? Exactly.

Back to “here”.

The first step in understanding why you are here is to know the “here” that you’re asking about.

If you want some extra credit, you can play the “Where’s here?” game. It’s where you ask yourself, “Where am I?”

You’ll probably start with the room that you are in and eventually escalate to your planet. After that, it starts to get tricky, but it’s a good awareness exercise to realize that you aren’t where you think you are.

So if you do play the “Where’s here?” game, try to go as far as you can.

And then of course ask yourself again, “Why am I here?” with the new awareness of where you think here is.

Who is “I” or who are you?

If your brain isn’t tingling yet, it’s about to.

Let’s talk the “I” aka your I-dentity aka your Individuality aka your I-dea of yourself.

Before I go too in-depth, ask yourself right now who you are.

Did answers come up like your name, profession, race, class, etc?

Let’s say you let go completely of your past, all of it. Who are you right now in this moment?

Your sex may have come into play. But are you just flesh? If so, you would’ve died with the millions of cells that died from your body today.

Go deeper. Who are you? And with the knowledge that you’re not a body, what are you?

If you were anything like me, you may have thought that you were your thoughts and emotions?

The problem, however, is that thoughts and emotions come and go, and you always seem to remain even when they’re gone.

So you’re not a body, you’re not your thoughts, and you’re not your emotions. What the heck are you?

Don’t say your past either. If you did, go listen to this song right now.

Since your past is gone while you are here, then we can conclude that you’re not your past either.

What you truly are

Let us now answer the questions, “Who am I?” and “What am I?”

Everything you perceive outside of yourself seems to have meaning.

What may not yet be realized is that you gave it all the meaning that it has.

This explains why some of your friends may like partying while you do not (or vice versa).

It’s because it has no meaning to you, or you place no value in it.

You are what gives value to the valueless.

In order to give value, you must be valuable.

In this, your identity is shared with all. You’ve given value to that you want to value and thus your own perceived value is reflected back to you.

You are not apart from anything. In other words, you are one with everything.

This is why mindset is everything.

That which you believe about a person or thing will be made real to you because you gave realness to it through your thoughts. You “realized” it.

Everyone is not ready to accept responsibility for their own thoughts. But once you do, you’ll see that life was always everything you thought it would be.

So what’s your purpose? Whatever you’ve done on purpose.

The answer to, “Why am I here?”

To answer once and for all, “Why am I here”, let’s restate the big reveal from above.

You are not apart from anything…you are one with everything.

You believe that you are a separate being, but the truth is that you are one with all existence.

By asking yourself why you are here, you are siding with the false notion that you could be separate. And so in this asking, you are denying yourself yourself.

To ask, “Why am I here?” is to already have the answer.

The “I” is “here” because you’ve attempted to separate yourself from reality by asking a question that is not possible.

The idea of separateness is the cause of all despair and fear.

“Why am I here?” You are not, well at least not how you believe yourself to be.

You are.

You are not a body or thing.

You are.

You are not a thought or emotion.

You are.

To say that you are anything is to place a limit on yourself and what you are can only be described as limitless. Yet the word “limitless” is just a symbol and cannot represent the totality of what you are.

You exist beyond all existence. You cannot be separate from your Creator just as your creations cannot be separate from you.

Author’s Notes

I know. It got a little deep. Some may not even understand it right now.

It’s ok.

You will eventually.

I’ve even made this album to help you along.

It takes you step-by-step through the undoing of false ideas you have of yourself so that you may tap into your limitless potential.

And best of all, you can chill out and vibe to it from start to finish.

It’s title IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE.

Death is one of those topics that's a hot button for many people. It seems to be inevitable to all, yet that doesn't make it hurt any less. This article touches that button so that it will no longer hurt at all. Let's get into it.

Living in today’s world, death seems inescapable. Many have even accepted it for themselves and look forward to approaching that day at a future time.

However, many have not accepted it for their loved ones. When a death occurs, it can feel like nothing makes sense and that the world is unfair.

If you are a follower of this blog or my music, you know that I don’t believe in death in the way that many others do.

The intent of this article is not to change your beliefs regarding death. That’s what There Is No Death, No Pain, and No Evil is for.

This article is to show how you can be alright at this moment when the thoughts of loss seem too great.

There may be some things in this article that seem to strike a nerve, but continue to read it in its entirety. This will help you.

Let’s get into the 5 ways to easily get over the death of a loved one.

1. It’s All About You

This is going to come as a shocker, but know that I am saying this with love.

When someone dies, it’s not about you.

That person supposedly lost their life, but you didn’t lose anything.

So if you’re going to feel sad, don’t feel sad for yourself. You’re still here and get to live it up.

Instead, feel sad that they won’t get to live it up, which has nothing to do with you. And then, remember that you don’t need to feel sad at all.

I’m not suggesting that you hold back your feelings. Let them out in a huge cry if you need to.

But then celebrate and honor your memory of them by feeling good that you crossed paths and that the best parts of them are with you always.

2. A Loved One’s Purpose

There is a belief that people exist in this world only for your will. I know, it’s a hidden belief.

You lay claim to these people through your words, i.e. your friends, your family, your this, your that, etc.

Within this belief, you think you know what’s best for them all. You know their highest capabilities and even their incapabilities.

Additionally, you know that whenever you call them, it’s best for them to fulfill your request. That request could be to entertain you, make you feel better, be good company, whatever.

But do you really know this? Do you even know that you think you know this?

Everything and everyone that exists has a purpose or else they would not be here.

In terms of items, when you no longer have a purpose for one, you either throw it away or give it away to be repurposed.

Many of us still don’t even know our own purpose, let alone the purpose of another.

How To Discover Your Purpose

What does this mean?

When you perceive a person’s death, you don’t know if their purpose was fulfilled or not.

You also don’t know if the circumstances surrounding their death were a manifestation of their commonly repeated thoughts.

The person may have gotten exactly what he or she wanted out of life and was ready to transition to something else.

Again, you don’t know.

There’s no sense in being mad or sad over something that you don’t know.

Furthermore, for those that believe in God, as I do. Do you really believe that God’s Will could not be done? Trust It. Trust Him.

He knows what’s best for you and He wants to give it to you. But it’s hard to receive something when you’re denying it.

3. Closing Off Yourself From New Experiences

When you’re a kid, everything is exciting because it’s all-new.

Everything is also exciting because it stays new.

No moment is like the previous one nor do you try to make it that way.

But as you get older, you try to recreate past moments that you felt were great. You deny this moment in favor of one that already happened.

You no longer trust that exciting experiences will be brought to you so you invest in what could never be, the past.

When you live in the past, you try to hold on to everything and everyone exactly as they were in that moment.

Yet you know as well as anyone that people’s thoughts, feelings, and bodies change every second of the day.

This means that by holding on, you are essentially setting yourself up to remain disappointed at all times.

It’s almost like your thoughts of choice are, “I want what I could never again have because I know everything about the world including that everything else would suck in comparison.”

If your thoughts, feelings, and body is changing all the time, that means that what you would enjoy changes all the time as well. God and the universe are always wanting to give to you that which you would enjoy.

But by holding onto one tiny moment that happened infinity moments ago, you are choosing littleness instead of abundance.

In doing this, the only thing that can make you happy is that which could never be.

Let go of the past so that you can experience all that the present has to offer in its glory.

This is not to say to forget about your loved one. This is to say to live now for you both.

4. Communicating with Your Loved One

The loved one is still with you now. Who you are is a combination of yourself and their influences over you. So literally, you are no longer just yourself.

In addition to that, you can actually communicate with your loved ones now as if they are here because, in reality, they are.

Here’s how.

Sit in a comfortable position. Relax completely being fully grounded in the present. Feel your toes touch the floor or your shoes. Let go of any past thoughts or experiences. Make only this moment your focus.

Close your eyes and think of the love shared between you and your loved one. Now say what you would say to them either out loud or to yourself.

Listen to what you receive back from them. It may not be heard with the body’s ears, but it’s definitely felt.

You can do this any time of any day for any length of time. So have at it. Enjoy a full dialogue.

A quote from one of my favorite books A Course In Miracles (ACIM) perfectly sums up why you are able to do this.

“Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.“

And in case you want a bible quote, check out Luke 20:38.

“He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to Him all are alive.“

5. Holding Onto Form Weakens You

As I mentioned above, you are choosing littleness instead of abundance.

You already accept that your thoughts, beliefs, and body are endlessly changing. And throughout all of these changes, you’ve still always been you.

So what version of your loved one are you trying to hold? And why would you want them to be stuck in a changeless form for your benefit?

There are so many people in your physical awareness right now that would love for you to enjoy them.

But it’s impossible to experience both loss and abundance. Each denies the other and so only one can be true.

If loss was real, then you would be happy to receive it. However, since abundance is real, even the illusion of loss can be.

To believe that your loved ones are only a body is to believe that you are an insignificant speck incapable of anything real.

This is not true. You are the light of the world. Your rays extend beyond any and everything ever-flowing for eternity.

In Conclusion

In conclusion, your loved ones didn’t die. Only your perception of who they were, died.

Let go of this perception so that you can LIVE with them always.

Enjoy this beautiful selection from, IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE.

IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE is the greatest hip-hop album ever made.
Rating:

I know what you’re thinking…did JClay really just review his own album? Yes, of course!

This is years in the making. IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE is a truth-led masterpiece daring to do what no album has ever before. In fact, it’s doing what many industry professionals are not.

That is showing you exactly how to heal for good.

This means you’ll never another pill, another treatment, more medicine, comfortable living quarters, anything.

IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE shows you how to be enough!

What You Need To Know

Genres: Hip-Hop, R&B, Spiritual, Conscious, Christian

The standard edition is a 17-track step-by-step guide to having inner peace no matter the outside circumstances.

This is meant to be listened to in order. This can be tricky for Spotify users so I suggest either listening on YouTube or ordering the physical CD (includes digital copy).

Here’s where you can begin streaming it now: https://jclay.link/album.

Since IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE is a collector’s item, there is also a limited edition version (double-disc, with 8 bonus songs). There are only 1,000 of these printed. Each one is numbered and signed by JClay.

And it’s gold-colored!

The 8 bonus songs on the limited edition further adapt the lessons taught on the album, but they don’t have to be listened to in any particular order for best results.

Let’s break down the music.

The purpose of “Right Now” is to remind you to stay in this present moment. There is no reward in either the past or the future. All of your gifts exist in the present.
Purpose
“I And You” is meant to explain your true relationship with everyone and everything. It’s made in such a way that it sounds like a happy dream and not reality, because it would not be easily accepted as reality at this time, even though it is. So it’s mainly a gentle reminder of what we are to each other.

Who is this song for?
This song is for everyone. Everyone feels a certain way about another, but the truth goes beyond that. To state it plainly, we are one another. We are one and the same. You and I are each other.

Purpose
The purpose of “I Like You That Way” is to remind you of your perfection. Yes, it seems like I’m only talking to women. But since most guys agree with the sentiment of the song, as they apply it to women, they thus apply it to themselves.

Who is this song for?
On the surface, this song is for any woman that has ever doubted herself. In truth, this song is for anyone that has ever doubted him or herself, and for anyone that wants to help anyone that has ever doubted him or herself.

The purpose of “Time” is to show how time doesn’t matter at all. It’s an illusion. Actually, you can replace the word “time” with any other illusions people unknowingly follow in the second verse and the song would still be perfectly true.

Who is this song for?
“Time” is for people that think that either it’s too late to start something new or that there isn’t enough time to do what you would like. As Dwight from The Office would say, “False!”

There's no doubt that the mind controls the body. We often look to physical aids to cure physical problems. But this does very little if the cause of the problem is never addressed. This article shows the scientific links between the leading causes of death and their mental counterparts. It also reiterates how important mental health is.

The body seems like a fickle master always changing what it wants and needs. You serve it proudly, but it betrays you when you need it most.

To add insult to injury, the body blames you for not adhering to its ever-changing laws and creeds. Then it withers away and dies as if that was always its purpose.

This sounds like an insane master.

What if the body was never meant to be a leader but a symbol of what its host’s mind embodies?

In the 17th century, Thomas Willis, M.D. hypothesized that diabetes was caused by “sadness or long sorrow and other depressions.“[1]

This was followed up a couple of hundred years later by Sir Henry Maudsley that published “The Physiology and Pathology of Mind“. In it, he said, “Diabetes is a disease which often shows itself in families in which insanity prevails.”

If a physical disease such as diabetes has strong ties to mental stability, do other illnesses share this trait? Is healing the body as simple as healing the mind?

Let’s explore!

The supposed leading causes of death

According to the CDC, here are the top 10 leading causes of death in the United States in 2019.

Heart disease

Influenza and pneumonia

Intentional self-harm (suicide)

Many expect COVID-19 to be added to that list when the 2020 numbers are released.

Both Alzheimer’s (6) and intentional self-harm (10) are already regarded as mental illnesses, but what about the rest?

Could all of these be cured with a wellness mindset?

A Sad Heart

Have you ever thought about why being depressed is often referred to as having a sad heart?

Yes, you have a physical heart. Yet, this saying refers to thoughts and feelings of sorrow, not that of physical chest pain.

One study conducted by John Hopkins University on nearly 7,000 U.S. adults concluded that women aged 17 to 39 with depression had a significantly higher risk of ischemic heart disease death.

ischemia – an inadequate blood supply to an organ or part of the body, especially the heart muscles

These findings are backed by another study conducted by the American Heart Association that found that young women are twice as likely to suffer a heart attack or die of heart disease if they suffer from depression.

Men are not exempt.

The European Society of Cardiology recently published the findings of a Swedish study outlining how men diagnosed with anxiety in their late teens or early 20s are more than twice as likely to have heart-related diseases later in life in comparison to their more laid-back peers.

There’s more to mental wellness than meets the eye.

Cancer

Funds available to the National Cancer Institute in 2018 totaled $5.94 billion![2] This is a 5% increase from the previous fiscal year.

Obviously, people are serious about curing cancer.

From these dollars have come such studies as this one, which showed that cancer patients can live longer lives by getting mental health treatment.

There is also a growing belief that cancer is directly related to feelings of unforgiveness.

Dr. Michael Barry, author of the book The Forgiveness Project estimates that 61% of cancer patients have forgiveness issues. “Harboring these negative emotions, this anger and hatred, creates a state of chronic anxiety” Dr. Barry explains.

You may also like: It’s Not Hard To Forgive, It’s Hard To Keep Lying To Yourself About It

The Mind-Body Connection

There have been similar findings with stroke victims and Alzheimer’s patients.

One study by the American Stroke Association found that higher levels of optimism in stroke survivors were associated with reduced stroke severity.

Another by the Alzheimers’s Association found a link between repetitive negative thinking and Alzheimer’s disease.

The mind-body connection is one that has been explored since the beginning of mankind.

Many believe that we are spiritual beings having a temporary human experience, so the body is of no consequence.

Even those that have died and been resuscitated support this theory by expressing that they felt immense peace and unconditional love while wrapped in an endless sea of light absent a body.

So can all illness be healed through the mind?

Is mental wellness the most important thing for this seemingly physical experience?

How To Ensure Mental Well-Being

Photo by Josue & Kerry of Friday Feels Production

There are many ways to secure and maintain mental wellness.

One super effective way is music. It’s meditation, visualization, and affirmations all rolled into one.

Studies have shown that patients who listened to music had less anxiety and stress hormones in the body than people who took drugs.

When listening to music, your mind goes to another place (meditation). You can feel and imagine what the song invokes (visualization). When you listen, you sing or chant along (affirmations) with full confidence.

This is why it is also important to choose the music you listen to wisely.

I’ve created an album, IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE, that is a thorough guide to having inner peace. By listening, you can reverse the effects of anxiety & depression without therapy or medicine.

Focus on the good can be a great starting point, but eventually, it becomes very limiting. It will shrink your world fast and you will be stuck wondering how to get out of it. Do this instead.

This article was written by JClay, the spiritual rapper and healer. Visit JClay for more wisdom, music, and insights.

Focus on the good. This seems like great advice. Since what you focus on expands, all you have to do is focus on the good to increase it, right?

Not so much.

There’s a fatal flaw in this logic. This flaw will be the basis of this article. The “good” thing is that by the end of it, you’ll have a better understanding of what is stopping you from being happy all the time.

Focusing on the good is a decent starting point in turning things around in your life, but I want you to be totally happy and remain that way no matter what.

So let’s get into it.

What’s Good?

Take a moment to think about what’s good in your life.

Feel free to grab a journal or open a text document and list out everything you can think of.

Just so you won’t take the easy way out, list at least 20 things.

You will be happy you did. Most people don’t realize that there are so many things in the world they are grateful for.

This exercise is your chance to see them all in one place.

It could be something as simple as popcorn or something like a rapper that made a classic healing album. Yes, that was a shameless plug. But focus.

Make your list.

With your list made, pay attention to how you feel right now.

That is genuine gratitude that you are feeling. See, you have more reasons to be happy about than you realize.

So how could focusing on these things ever be bad?

What Happens When You Focus On The Good Only

Look at your list again now think about each item’s opposite, if applicable.

For example, you may have on your list that all your bills are paid for this month. Its opposite would be, you have bills that you are unable to pay.

Another example would be that you’re thankful for a loved one in your life. Its opposite would be that the loved one is no longer in your life.

Would you consider these opposites bad?

Most would.

The problem is that by focusing on what you consider good, you’ve created the exact circumstances that will make you unhappy.

If your list has opposites, then if one or more of the opposites were to occur, you would no longer be in a gracious state.

This is because your faith lies in what’s on your list and many other things that exist outside of you.

What To Do Instead of Focusing Only on What’s Good

Since you are the one that continuously gives power to these things, then this power is yours to remove or give to something else.

Certain questions come to mind.

How did I give power to these things and how do I stop?

Where does this source of power even come from?

What should I give this power to?

Let’s answer each of these.

1. How did I give power to these things and how do I stop?

In short, it’s based on your judgments. By judging something as good, you’ve inadvertently judged the opposite as bad. Else there would be no reason to judge it is good. It would just be.

I go into much more detail about the mistakes of judging in these articles:

Why It’s Hard To Make Friends As An Adult, The Math

Law of Attraction Mistakes That Undo Your Progress

The Painting: A Modern-Day Parable

The important thing to remember is that you shouldn’t judge anything. In order to accurately judge something, you would have to know EVERYTHING about it including its past and future.

For example, a person may have judged that it’s hard to make a lot of money. Another may have judged that’s it’s easy to make a lot of money. Who’s right when they both are successfully making money according to how they choose to work?

They both are correct. Each one is bound to the rules he or she has set through judgment.

Yet another person may have not judged anything about this at all. He or she is free to make money or not make money, work hard or not work hard. Regardless, this person will remain at peace about what he or she is doing.

2. Where does this source of power even come from?

This is an excellent question. Before we answer together, you should try to answer yourself.

Where does your power come from?

Possible answers you may have said are yourself, God, the food you eat, the exercise that you do, all of the above, etc.

Which answers are the truth, if any?

First, let’s determine if any of these power sources are limited in any way.

Food is obviously limited. It has to be grown or prepared, which depends on many outside factors.

We should be able to agree that exercise is limited as well because nobody exercises 24 hours a day every day.

What about God?

There’s a lot of debate about who or what God is. So let’s come back to this later.

What about yourself?

Those that believe in themselves seem to be pretty confident and happy. Those that do not believe in themselves seem to either be sad at, mad at, or scared of the world.

We can almost conclude that the source of your power is yourself or the belief in yourself.

There’s just one problem, you didn’t create yourself. Or did you?

“JClay, this is getting too deep. I’m not ready for this.” Stick with me, even though I don’t know where this is going either.

We’re taught that our parents made us and that their parents made them. Well, who or what made our parent’s parent’s parent’s parent’s parent’ssssssss?

Some may say science, but science does not create. Science attempts to explain what already happened.

So we’re brought back to God. Well, who is God? Who created God? Did He create Himself? If so, does that mean another God can create Him or Herself at any moment?

These are a lot of tough questions that won’t be answered right now in this article.

One question for you that can be answered is that if you can’t answer the above, how can you know with all certainty what is good and what is not?

It’s best to leave the judging to whatever force did the supposed creating, because He, She, or It obviously knows more than you.

And this brings us to our last question.

3. What should I give this power to?

Life is giving and so is your identity.

You are the thoughts you give/share with others. For example, if you’re always speaking about music, you see yourself as a musician or a music lover.

It’s the same with the stories you share of your perception of your past. These are the things you are currently giving power to and identifying as.

Humans are very reciprocatory beings.

Give people compliments and they’ll respond with one of their own or even a smile-inducing smile. On the other hand, give people a harsh criticism and they’ll give a painful look or another criticism in return.

You are only giving power to the things outside of yourself that you think give you power (you’re reciprocating).

This is why some really focus on what they eat while others may focus on what they read. The possibilities are endless.

Yet the original question answers itself.

If what you give power to seems to be limited, yet you seem to always have more power to give even when you change the object of what you’ve given power to, then you must be powerful.

*please read that sentence again*

How else could you consistently receive power from what’s limited while endlessly giving it away?

You can’t unless you’re already full of power.

But again, you acknowledge that you don’t believe you created yourself. You also acknowledge that your parents don’t seem to be unlimited.

Then there must be something else supplying your power that you can return the favor to.

Let me know in the comments who or what that is for you.

The Important Things To Remember

The first thing to remember is don’t make any new judgments.

Every judgment creates a split in reality where only half of it will make you happy.

Why have half happiness when you can have complete happiness?

The second thing to remember is to forgive all of your previous judgments.

This opens your world and allows you to experience peace and happiness despite what seems to be happening in the world.

When you stop giving your power/focus away to other people and things, it remains with you. You then get to be a reflection of power to others so that they may do the same.

The word "forgiveness" gets thrown around a lot, but it's not fully understood. People say they forgive, but still treat people like they haven't. The main reason is that they don't understand how forgiveness physically heals them. But I'll get into that in this article.

This article was written by JClay, the spiritual rapper and healer. Visit JClay for more wisdom, music, and insights.

Forgiveness is one of those things we hear about all the time that sounds good in theory, but when it happens to us … “I ain’t gone forgive them! They need to pay!”

Why do we give up on our principles so quickly?

Perhaps we never truly believed in forgiveness, to begin with. Or maybe we never understood it but acted as if we did so that we can seem good and noble.

Whatever the case, I’m going to break it down for you here.

By the end of this, you’ll know whether you should join the forgiveness bandwagon or shrug it off forever.

You’ll also understand how forgiveness can give you everything you ever wanted.

And best of all, you’ll be able to explain it to others with ease.

If you stop reading right here then you are stupid!

No, you aren’t. I just wanted to see if you would forgive me and continuing reading.

Besides, you are as smart as the smartest person in the world whether you realize it or not.

What Is Forgiveness?

Forgiveness is the act of one of the following:

no longer feeling angry or resentful toward a person for an offense, flaw, or mistake

canceling a debt

Canceling of a debt

Let’s start with the canceling of a debt owed since it’s simpler to explain.

To perceive that a debt is owed is to also be in debt. This is similar to that of a jailer.

To put one in jail, one must also be confined to that jail in order to watch over the other that is imprisoned. This notion explains why besides the prisoners, prison guards spend the most time at a jail.

When you hold a debt over another, it is held over your head as well. Any time you think of the one that owes you, you are reminded of this debt.

Until the debt is taken care of, it is perceived as a loss or else it would not matter. This loss could be one of money, pride, principle, or any number of self-imprisonments.

Thus whenever you perceive that you are at a loss, you act accordingly. You act as one that loses.

To put it another way, you behave like a loser.

A loser sees the world as a place that takes advantage of him or her. He or she makes loser decisions and speaks loser phrases to anyone that would listen.

Yet this loser is not a loser at all. This person is simply living out the beliefs he or she has set forth in his or her illusion (ill-lose-shun).

So if holding another in your debt puts you in a debt that you weren’t in before, does the canceling of this debt really do anything at all?

No, it simply brings you back to your natural state. This is the state you would have been in had you not declared that someone owes you something.

This is how forgiveness works. It restores what was never broken at all.

Are you with me?

Read this section again if you need to and then proceed.

… for an offense, flaw, or mistake

To fully explain forgiveness in this context, let’s start with what would make you angry.

In the above definition, it says an offense, flaw, or mistake. This can also be called imperfections.

To know what imperfection is, you would have to know what perfection is.

Quick exercise: Close your eyes and for one minute, picture exactly what perfection is.

…

Based on what you saw, try to answer the following to yourself about perfection.

What exactly is perfection?

Is it a certain look? Is perfection a way of speaking? Could it be a certain way a person acts?

If what one person calls a flaw, another calls beauty, and vice versa, can anything really be perfect or imperfect?

Since your meaning of perfect can change tomorrow, is what you’ve seen actually perfection or just your idea of perfection today?

If it’s not so easy to identify perfection, why do you believe it’s easy to witness imperfection? Wouldn’t it be, at best, a guess?

…

Yes, these are a lot of questions. Hopefully, you are answering them and seeing just how flawed your idea of perfection can be.

And if perfection is flawed, should it still be called perfection?

Don’t worry, I’m getting to my point in this.

Without truly knowing the outcome of certain actions, it is impossible to know whether something is an offense, flaw, or mistake at all.

It could all be imagined.

Even the word mistake implies a false view. You mistook what happened.

No longer feeling angry or resentful toward a person …

Now that we’ve addressed what can make you angry, which in a way is nothing at all, let’s talk about you feeling angry or resentful toward another.

When you feel angry or resentful toward another, you are the one that is feeling it.

This is obvious.

But if you have full authority and control over your feelings, why ever feel angry at all. The only logical explanation is that you enjoy it.

Furthermore, if you don’t know that what is happening is actually “bad”, then what’s the real purpose of your anger or resentment?

This again brings us to forgiveness. Forgiveness is only about you, not the one you have yet to forgive.

What Forgiveness Is and Isn’t

Forgiveness does not say that you are a bigger person than the one you are forgiving? It does not say that you have authority over another to absolve them of their actions.

Forgiveness simply brings you back into the awareness of reality instead of what never was.

It is giving up these feelings of anger and/or resentment so that you can be restored to your natural state of peace.

So what forgiveness is saying through you is, “I give up these unwanted feelings caused by what I have no idea about.”

If you are giving up unwanted feelings, you are giving up nothing. Nothing wanted is sacrificed.

What you receive in return is the awareness of what you’ve always been…love, abundance, joy, peace, etc.

Technically, forgiveness doesn’t do anything because it undoes what never was. What never was never needed forgiveness.

An Even Deeper Look at Forgiveness

I know right now many are reading this and saying, “Ok JClay. I get it, but these people really hurt me and did unspeakable things that should never be forgiven.”

There are few things at play when you think similar to this.

First, at this moment you would rather re-live this supposed wrongdoing instead of being happy.

Even though there is never a reason needed to be happy, you could still be happy that this situation is not occurring right now.

You are presently in a safe space. At least it’s safe enough where you can read this article.

Secondly, you are acknowledging that others have control over you and your wellbeing.

This can never be true because the mind controls the body and you control your mind.

By not giving away control of your mind to outside forces, your body is under your complete control always.

I’ll use this example to better illustrate it.

That which you chase will often run away.

Every relationship is a partnership whether it’s a romantic one, friendship, or one of an oppressor & oppressed.

In this example, this is an agreement between the chaser and the one being chased.

Right now if you were at a store and saw a couple of people running toward you at full speed, chances are you would run.

You would have fully accepted your role as one being chased.

However, if in that same situation you instead start running toward those people at full speed, there would be hesitation on their part. They would reassess the terms of the relationship and choose instead to be the ones being chased.

Most likely the original chasers would think, “This person is crazy and must know something that we don’t. Let’s get out of here.”

Similarly, in cases where someone has “wronged” you, you have given him or her full permission to do so.

And since the authority of what happens to you rests solely on you, then you can never truly be mad at another. You can only be mad at yourself.

To be mad is to be crazy. To be crazy at another is to still be crazy.

Don’t be crazy. Forgive them for what they did not and cannot do.

The Mind/Body Relationship Revisited

It’s been understood that the mind controls the body, but what isn’t fully understood is how much.

Your height, muscle mass, “illnesses”, facial expressions, weight consumption, etc are all in your control.

By your control, I don’t mean physically. This is totally relating to the mind.

Your body bends to your intentions of how you want to use your body.

For example, basketball players are usually the tallest in their families despite genetics because they have a habit of reaching for a higher height (the basketball goal).

Likewise, gymnasts are usually the shortest in their families despite genetics because the tighter and stronger their core, the better they can whip their body around.

It doesn’t end there. Your body loses about its weight in normal cell reproduction every year[1], which means physically you have a brand new body every year.

But what blueprint does cell regeneration follow? If you didn’t have these same attributes or illnesses as a child, why are they regenerated now?

It’s because you have created a purpose for this and your body embodies this purpose.

So if your body isn’t real in the sense that it can be regenerated to your likeness at any time, why ever be concerned with what happens to the body?

Cause and Effect

The body is an effect where the mind is the cause. Effects always follow their cause.

Bodies can seem to attack, but minds can never attack.

So when you feel you are wronged, it’s in relation to how you view yourself as a body.

To state it another way. It’s like you’re playing a video game.

When your video game character is hurt by another video game character, you think it means the end of you.

It may only mean the end of your character, but never you.

You can create infinite characters with infinite attributes at will by your beliefs and intentions.

The source of your pain is never rooted in reality because pain does not really exist.

Forgiveness is just the acknowledgment of reality. It’s saying that you forgive another for what they could not do.

How easy is that?

How Forgiveness Heals

Pain is just a manifestation of guilt.

I won’t go into the many causes of the guilt illusion, but this song will help you become and stay guilt-free.

People project guilt onto others so that they won’t have to blame themselves. It’s part of that relationship agreement we spoke about earlier between you and the “guilty” party.

It makes sense because would you rather spend all day being mad at yourself or at another?

Right, at another.

The problem is that what you give, you also receive. So instead of being free of this guilt, you multiply it because you witness the guilt every time you see those you projected it onto.

When you forgive others, this guilt is no longer seen on the faces of those you projected it onto.

Since you don’t witness it, you enjoy the guilt-free world you live in. You also think of and treat others, whom you’ve forgiven, with respect.

And if these individuals don’t already treat themselves with respect, your respect is enough for them to start respecting themselves.

They can now begin forgiving themselves and others so that this healing process can continue with all of mankind.

This is all because of your forgiveness.

In Conclusion

I didn’t want this article to be too long, but I wanted to address as much as possible related to forgiveness.
